If you are looking for a unique and contemporary venue for your next event, look no further than the American Writers Museum. Located in the heart of downtown Chicago on famed Michigan Avenue, this new cultural gem is just steps away from Millennium Park and other cultural attractions, and a number of Chicago’s major hotels. The Readers Hall event space offers flexible seating and can accommodate small groups or larger gatherings up to 250 for heavy hors d’oeuvres events, cocktail parties, fundraisers, corporate meetings and more.

The museum is available to rent after business hours Sunday-Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and anytime on Mondays. Events can be scheduled in time blocks of 2, 3 or 4 hours.
Pricing is available upon request. American Writers Museum donors at the $500 level and up receive discounted rental rates for private events.
Event requests are considered on an individual basis. Please submit all event requests at least 6 weeks prior to your preferred date.
