Sourcebooks Annual “Books Change Lives” Event

Join us when Sourcebooks stops by the AWM for their annual “Books Change Lives” cocktail reception event. The Book Cellar will be there selling titles, along with five authors who wrote books about books. The authors will sign books following the panel, and food and drinks will be provided. Register for the event here.

This exclusive author panel and discussion covers topics such as literacy, book banning, and censorship. Moderated by Booklist editor Donna Seaman, this panel consists of authors Sulari Gentill (The Woman in the Library), Eva Jurczyk (Department of Rare Books and Special Collections), Shauna Robinson (The Banned Bookshop of Maggie Banks), C.J. Carey (Widowland) and Casey Sherman (Helltown).

If you purchase three copies of any of the featured authors’ books, you will receive an exclusive “I’d Rather Be Reading” tote bag, courtesy of Sourcebooks. Order before the event to secure your copies of the books, and in the order comments put in the code “RatherBeReading” to make sure your order counts. Tote bags are first come, first serve.
