Black History Month Storytime
Every Saturday, AWM welcomes preschool-age children in its Children’s Literature Gallery for storytime. During Black History Month in February, our weekly Little Squirrels Storytimes will feature works by Langston Hughes, Maya Angelou, and Gwendolyn Brooks. Our dedicated and knowledgeable storytellers will read some of their writing and introduce children to these writers and the lasting impact they have had on equality, justice, writing and more. Read books, play with other children, and learn about these important Black voices in our country’s history.
For preschool-age children with a caregiver. Free. Museum admission not included.
