FREE ADMISSION
Members receive free, unlimited admission to the museum every day we are open with absolutely no restrictions.Â
AUTHOR PROGRAMS & EVENTS
Members recieve free admission to author programs and discounts to special events, like Get Lit, our monthly happy hour.
GIFT SHOP DISCOUNTS
Members recieve 15% off in the museum gift shop, both in-person and online. Plus, members get access to unique member-exclusive merch to show off their AWM pride!

Discounted Membership Levels
All Individual membership benefits at a discounted rate.
Educator Membership
Teachers, librarians, and school administrators are eligible for discounted membership. Proof of employment required.
One year: $24
Student Membership
Full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in college are eligible for discounted membership. Proof of enrollment required.

Out-of-Town Membership
Members must live outside the state of Illinois
One year: $29
WRITER Membership
Available to working writers. Proof of published work, writers group membership, or other relevant works should be provided. Available for purchase online only and for renewal both in-person and online. Click here to apply.
