The new school year is right around the corner and the American Writers Museum is here to help you make this a year worth writing about! With various educational opportunities and field trips, both in-person and virtual, as well as online exhibit extensions there are many options to enhance your teaching. Learn about the many resources we have available during this free online event and connect with our Education Team.

Plus, we are excited to launch the new Write In Curriculum. Teacher-designed, this is a 6-8 week unit intended to empower students to use writing as a way to understand themselves and the world, and to think of themselves as writers by the end of the unit. The Write In Curriculum includes an educator orientation session, lesson plans, a themed field trip (in-person or virtual), and additional online resources and support. Upon completion of the course, your students can enter the AWM’s annual John Estey Student Writing Competition for the chance to win cash prizes.
