I brought my 16 year old grand-nephew there in July and he LOVED the museum, hated to leave at closing. I bought him a Great Gatsby shirt, which he requested as his class (in Montana) was going to be reading it this winter. They did indeed, and his teacher was duly impressed. The young fella even wrote an essay about the t-shirt. Now he wants one of A Raisin in the Sun. Do you carry that? Amazon can’t get one to him until a week after they start reading the book. (They are on vacation this week.) I don’t know if Court Theatre does t-shirt merch. He would like it a week from now. Any way, thanks for any info you can share on this asap.

Thank you for visiting, we are so glad to hear your grand-nephew enjoyed his visit! Unfortunately, we do not have any “A Raisin in the Sun” t-shirts so we cannot be of much help in getting him outfitted for school. Best of luck in your search though!

This March lineup sounds incredible! I love how the AWM always finds creative ways to connect literature with pop culture—especially through exhibits like Level Up: Writers & Gamers. The idea of exploring storytelling in gaming is fascinating, especially for younger visitors who might discover a new passion for writing through their favorite games.

Also, I appreciate the mix of fun (like the pub night ) and educational moments (like Free Museum Day). It’s refreshing to see institutions actively promoting writing in such accessible and engaging ways.

For those who feel inspired to start writing themselves, I found some useful argumentative writing examples here: https://studyhelper.com/argumentative-essay-samples — definitely helpful for students or anyone looking to sharpen their skills.

Thanks again for putting this together—can’t wait to stop by the museum this spring!
