Typed at the American Writers Museum: A flower does not compare itself to the flowers around it, it just blooms

AWM Story of the Week

Every week, the AWM is excited to bring you stories written by our visitors in our Story of the Day exhibit. Check back weekly for new stories, and visit the Museum to try out our typewriters and possibly be featured here!

We were so excited about the first day of Spring on March 20 that we decided we had to feature stories that remind us of Spring!

this is warming up now
it might take a little
time for everything
to turn green to become
alive again
all hail spring

We just can’t wait for flowers!

A flower dos not compare itself to the flowers around it,
                             it just
                                        blooms

Even though it’s a bit bittersweet, this micro-story makes us miss songbirds even more than we already did.

The Little Bird
By Ava Lee
